Leicestershire County Council has advised that a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) will be implemented on Ploughmans Lea, East Goscote, between Farrier’s Way and Saddler’s Close.

This temporary road closure is required to allow Openreach to carry out telecommunications installation works safely.

The works are expected to take place from:

Monday 13 April 2026 for up to 3 days.

Please note that the road will be closed during this period while the works are carried out. The works may be completed sooner if possible.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location:

Broome Lane, Ratcliffe on the Wreake / East Goscote

Purpose:
To allow Leicestershire County Council to safely undertake Highway Forestry Works.

Type of Restriction:
Temporary road closure.

Duration:
The restriction is not anticipated to exceed 1 day, commencing on Tuesday, 2 December 2025.

A press release will be issued approximately two weeks before works commence to confirm these details.

Temporary Road Closures – Station Road & Broome Lane

Network Rail will be carrying out essential inspections and renewal works on level crossings in East Goscote and Rearsby. As a result, temporary road closures will be in place as follows:

• Broome Lane – Closed from 2nd March 2025 at 21:00 to 3rd March 2025 at 05:00
• Broome Lane – Closed from 5th April 2025 at 07:00 to 6th April 2025 at 13:00
• Station Road – Closed from 4th May 2025 at 00:30 to 09:00
