Bulb / Seed Planting in East Goscote

The Council have a budget of £100 per year to spend on bulbs and seeds, unless we manage to secure grant funding from elsewhere.

Village Green

With the help of the local Rainbows group, Daffodils were planted in the shape of a crown on the Village Green in October 2022 , at a cost of £26.00.

The Meadows

In December 2023 100 bluebells were planted at the Meadows at a cost of £30.


In October 2024 a hedgerow mix of wildflower seeds, and a variety of crocuses were also planted in the area and we look forward to these flowering next year.

Chestnut Way Central Reservation

In October 2024 the central reservation was tidied with a mix of daffodils, crocuses, and tulips planted in the ground and flower beds.

Playing Fields Wild Area

In September 2025 an area of the playing fields was designated as a Wild Area, with the intention of seed planting to take place in the near future.
